November '08 Inspirations
Another of Jan's
precious creations!

This is the Children's Corner
"Lucy" done again, this time
as a dress.  The fabric is
purple featherwale
corduroy from Robert
Kaufman Fabrics trimmed
with "Smores" from
Moda.

 
   

 

 


Jan has cut several of the little Smores from
the accent fabric and appliqued them to the dress.
The bright-colored scarves have been highlighted with
applique stitching and a bright, happy button.
Ear muffs from small pompoms complete their outfits.

Double buttons have been used at the shoulders, and
wisteria piping outlines the neckline and armholes.

 

  

The Smore fabric
was used for the
ruffle at the hemline
and to line the
dress.

This dress is great
for Christmas and
can also be worn right
into the new year.
